Pro drifter Masao Suenaga has been on the scene since 2002 and soon after joined up with this very popular rotary tuner. His Mazda RX-7 FD3S is powered by a 3-Rotor 20B-REW engine that makes 520 hp thanks to turbocharging. Driveline reliability is helped by running a Hewland sequential transmission that runs our Lightweight Shockproof like the Japanese and European F3 teams. Suenaga and RE Amemiya won two rounds of the 2009 D1 Grand Prix Series, which helped to to a fourth place finish in the championship.
